Because yesterday himself told my mom he was never going to speak to her (or her husband) again, and L is never ever welcome in his(our) house, and mom only when himself isn't around.

I'm from California, then Arizona, then lived in Scotland for 5 1/2 years, now back in the desert -- have lived my life as if I'm going to miss something, so have done a little of this, a little of that, but am no expert in anything (yet).
