Very Sleepy after the 12+ hour drive from San Jose to Cave Creek yesterday...
So thankful it worked out that I could go out for Uncle Bob's memorial.... seeing family, singing with other family at the funeral.... whipping my sister, brother and cousin in Hearts (only 'cuz I play the computer version every once in awhile...).
More later... home safe and sound and while very tired, I'm very thankful I was able to be a part of this gathering... and so very blessed and thankful to be a part of this amazing family.

I'm from California, then Arizona, then lived in Scotland for 5 1/2 years, now back in the desert -- have lived my life as if I'm going to miss something, so have done a little of this, a little of that, but am no expert in anything (yet). Haven't read your blog in a long time -- love you and the Lindsey family too. Wonderful and cold but sunny day here in Cave Creek. Thinking of you a lot and just got back from acupuncture treatment and visit to the new Bible bookstore in Scottsdale. Got a box of birthday card greetings by Max Lucado and a Valentine Day gift for LJM -- a larger print version of the New Translation Version (NLT) of the Bible. I decided I needed larger print too and don't have an NLT version so justified the expense. Heard that you have been having rain too and it has cleared the air and flooded the creek. Love and Hugs Mom
